Oh Rishikesh magazine is the only magazine solely published in the State of
Uttarakhand, India.
A city based magazine from the town Rishikesh has put the city as a premium one
following Bombay, London, Paris, New York who too have regular city magazine.
Born in 2016, bi-monthly, 64 pager colored magazine at Rishikesh, the Yoga capital of
the world, ‘Oh Rishikesh’ will talk about latest on Yoga, Ashrams, Meditation, Peace, local
news of towns of Rishikesh, Dehradun, Mussorrie, Haridwar and hill tourism. From big lot news
to small urgencies like Petrol stations at the Yatra route, or, liquor stores for the spoiled.
Circulation 50,000 to start with that will grow.
And, if you are an advertiser, this peace is ‘Value for money’ for your Uttarakhand target,
in and around the capital of the State- Dehradun, Haridwar, Rishikesh. Best are ethnic
publications though, Hindi one, no.1 Amar Ujala, 2. Dainik Jagran, no.3 Hindustan Hindi. In
English, no.1 is TOI, then HT far down
You may not be able to refute my claim please- Rishikesh gets rich Indians about
10,000 to 50,000 a day some on the way to Char Dham Yatra in their own luxury cars, some
50,000 Sikh devotees to Hem Kund, some 65,000 Yoga lovers from abroad, some 5000 long
–stay foreigner tourists in search of Peace and Yoga. The town has about 10,000 students of
higher study who would be joining universities or appearing for competitive examinations. They
bank, look for hotels, buy food, travel, love adventure like water rafting, buy cars and sport
shoes, and Pan masala ( sorry, we do not take any masala or tobacco ad). They are at peace,
when not looking at their I phones, they are reading some kind of newspapers.
